Does the complex have a lift or elevator?

No, we don’t have a lift. The building is a 3 storey walk up – there are steps to the building and stairs to the First and Second Levels. If you have difficulties with stairs please let us know and we can try & allocate you a lower level apartment.

Are the apartments serviced daily?

No, we are self-contained apartment and supply a starter kit for your stay. Although the apartments are not serviced daily, but can arrange servicing for an additional cost if you require one.

If you are staying longer than 8 nights, a mid-stay service is included.

If you are staying 7 nights a complimentary towel change is included.

Can tours be booked through reception?

Yes, we have a comprehensive tour desk with a full range of brochures for all tours in and around Port Douglas and the region. It can be quite overwhelming with all the options so let our team help with choosing the tour that suits you, your family or group.

Are you walking distance to the shops / beach / marina?

We are right in the heart of Port Douglas – 50 steps from the main street Macrossan Street and just 200m from the famous 4 Mile Beach.

The Supermarket & Marina, are all just a easy stroll from our apartments.

Is smoking allowed in the apartments?

No – Verandahs is a non smoking property.

What's the difference between Standard and Pool View Apartments?

Pool view apartments overlook the pool and the lush tropical gardens.

Standard Apartments face towards the road (either west to Owen Street with lots of sun or towards Davidson Street facing east for the morning sun).

Do you provide beach towels?

Beach towel hire is available for your stay. $5 per towel for the duration of your stay. Children’s towels $3.

Cot/Highchair/stroller hire is also available.

Beach toys and pool toys are free to borrow.

Is there parking available?

Yes, FREE undercover parking is available.

 

Can you provide airport transfers?

Yes, transfers can be booked on your behalf, contact our reception team for assistance.

Is there wifi / internet?

Yes, free unlimited wi-fi for all guests is included.

Is there cable TV?

No, but there are free-to-air channels available on your in-room TV.
